Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mach II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). II's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ace of Spades. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keiji Inoue!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inoue moves into range and clinches up with II.
Inoue just leaning against II, taking a breather.
II prevents the takedown attempt.
II tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Inoue avoids it.
II lands an uppercut.
II lands an elbow that stopped Inoue in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Keiji Inoue has been cut.
II blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

A left hand lands to the body for II.

II lands with a light punch inside.
II misses with a punch to the body.
II has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Inoue wants the takedown. II is fighting it off but Inoue persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in II's guard against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
II is controlling Inoue's posture.

Inoue postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Inoue throws a big right hand that misses.
II pulls Inoue in close to prevent any damage.

Inoue got a little sloppy there for a moment and II has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Inoue has managed to get both his arms back between II's legs - danger averted.
II utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Inoue wants to pass the guard but II is keeping the position.

II is looking for a triangle but Inoue pushes his legs off easily.

Inoue loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Inoue connects with a couple of short punches.
Inoue postures up in II's guard and throws a big left but II blocks it.

Inoue is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Inoue throws a big right hand that misses.

II has his hands on Inoue's head, controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Inoue shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. II defends it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from II.
Inoue finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Inoue changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. II tries to avoid it but Inoue manages to keep hold of a leg and drag II to the ground. II escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mach II has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keiji Inoue.
II throws a hook to the side of Inoue's head but Inoue sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Inoue takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Inoue clinches up against the cage.
Inoue is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
II is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mach II will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Keiji Inoue's cut.
That's time! II's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That has opened up Keiji Inoue's cut even more.
II lands a right hand.
II is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
II lands an elbow just above Inoue 's eye.
II lands a hook to the side of the head.
II scores with a nice hook to the head.
A short right from II on the inside.
Inoue is breathing heavily.

A nice glancing elbow lands by II.


The cut above Keiji Inoue's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mach II has scored more points in the clinch so far.
II blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Inoue wants to stall.
II lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Inoue backwards.


Keiji Inoue's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. II obliges.
A bit of stalling here from II.
II connects with a nasty looking knee right to Inoue's face.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Keiji Inoue's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mach II!
An intense looking Mach II took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I have tested my parametres. Now I'm battle ready. If I lose a fight I will terminate myself. As I said, I'm here to be deactivated or be Champion. To you, this island is hell. This island means pain and to me, pain is really good.'.
