The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Souza showed some decent athleticism there.
Souza wants to pass to mount but Weiss is defending the position.

Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Weiss doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.

Souza is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Weiss sees it coming and defends easily.
Weiss is looking to control Souza's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Weiss avoid being mounted?

Souza is looking to take a break and control but Weiss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Souza is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Weiss defends it well.

Souza is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Weiss is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
