Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zuese Zorro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Bakreek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zuese Zorro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Bakreek!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bakreek but Bakreek pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bakreek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zorro circles away quickly and effectively.
Zorro staying out of range there.
Jeff Bakreek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zorro takes the fight into the clinch.
Zorro tries to land knees in the clinch but Bakreek avoids the damage to the body.

Bakreek's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bakreek duly obliges.

Zorro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bakreek sprawls well initially but Zorro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zorro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bakreek desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Zorro is trying to work for a kimura but Bakreek is defending well.
Zorro is looking for a kimura but Bakreek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zorro to get the leverage.

Bakreek tries to roll over but Zorro keeps him under control.

Zorro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bakreek is just riding it out for now. Zorro eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Zorro shoots in but Bakreek avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bakreek throws a series of punches but Zorro moves out of range.

Zorro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Zorro counters by moving into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zorro misses with an elbow strike.
Bakreek is looking to control Zorro's arms but Zorro gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bakreek has his back to the cage.
Zorro with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Jeff Bakreek has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zorro just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bakreek's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice jab there from Bakreek.
Zorro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bakreek.
Zorro moves out of range of the strikes.
Bakreek misses with a looping right.
Bakreek throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zorro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Zorro shoots for a takedown but Bakreek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zorro defending well as Bakreek loads up on a big left hand.
Zorro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zorro tries a head kick but it misses.
Zorro slips under a jab from Bakreek.
Zorro moves away from the strike by Bakreek.
Zorro tries to clinch up.
Bakreek throws out a loose jab but Zorro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zorro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bakreek misses with the combination.
Zorro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bakreek is trying to defend but Zorro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Zorro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bakreek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bakreek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bakreek!

Bakreek not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Zorro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bakreek pulls his head out easily.
Zorro is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bakreek scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zorro wants to improve his position but Bakreek is controlling well.

Zorro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zorro.
Zorro has his foot on Bakreek's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bakreek works his way back into a safe position though.
Zorro is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bakreek throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zorro's body to avoid the submission. Zorro has instead reached around Bakreek's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zorro arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
