Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Svensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sven Svensen!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stone.

Stone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Aaron Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Svensen moves away.

and Svensen counters with a nice body kick.
Stone lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Svensen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stone takes a swing at Svensen's ribcage but misses.

and Svensen counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Svensen won't allow Stone to sweep him here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone tries to work over Svensen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Svensen tries to score a body lock takedown but Stone shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Svensen misses with an elbow over the top.
Stone misses with a body punch.
Svensen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stone walks away with a smile on his face. Svensen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Svensen slips a straight right by Stone.

Svensen closes the distance and pushes Stone back into the cage.
Stone throws a punch but it's blocked by Svensen.
Stone scores with a shoulder strike.
Stone tries a body shot but Svensen blocks it.

Svensen has hold of one of Stone's legs. Stone is fighting the takedown attempt but Svensen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Svensen connects with a couple of short punches.
Svensen stands and throws Stone's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Svensen lands a nice short elbow.

Stone is defending against the submission attempts here by Svensen.
Svensen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Stone is trying to stand.
Svensen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Svensen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Svensen uses his free foot to push down on Stone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stone.
Stone is looking to improve his position but Svensen isn't that keen on the idea.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Svensen is on top in guard.

Stone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Svensen!

Stone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Svensen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
