The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matiss feints and then cracks Paige's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Paige down.
Matiss shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A slow jab from Matiss misses its intended target.
Paige tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Paige blocks the body kick.
Matiss jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paige. Matiss does a little dance to reset his feet.
