The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Cocainich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hana's waist but Hana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cocainich off to one side.
Cocainich looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hana lands with an uppercut that bounces Cocainich off the cage and back into range.
Cocainich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Hana counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hana avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cocainich keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.
Hana wants to control from the top but Cocainich keeps moving.

Hana controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cocainich manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cocainich lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Taka Hana has been cut.
