The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aharon Ter Terteryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ter Terteryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Ray tries to sprawl out of it but Ter Terteryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ter Terteryan quickly recovers to half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ray connects with a nice short shot to Ter Terteryan's temple.
