The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nailz wants to clinch up but Mcgowan keeps it at a distance.
Mcgowan scores with a head kick. Nailz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Mcgowan moves into range and clinches up with Nailz.
Nailz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nailz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Mcgowan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Nailz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Mcgowan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Mcgowan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcgowan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nailz tries to avoid it but Mcgowan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nailz to the ground. Nailz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mcgowan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nailz as he jumps to the side.

Nailz has had enough of the clinch but Mcgowan keeps him there for the moment.
