Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ange Fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fili comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spaceship Superstar kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fili tries to clinch there but Sonnen circles away.
Sonnen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fili throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sonnen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fili's hands.
Sonnen blocks a jab.
Sonnen lands a slapping body shot.
Sonnen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fili.
Fili tries to land a front kick but Sonnen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fili misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fili cracks Sonnen with an open hand slap.
It looks like Ryan Sonnen has been cut.
Fili throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sonnen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sonnen swats away the attempt to clinch by Fili.
Sonnen scores with a nice head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sonnen slips a jab from Fili.
Fili wants to clinch but Sonnen slips to the side
and Sonnen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fili's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Fili takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fili wants to clinch up but Sonnen keeps it at a distance.
Sonnen ducks under a wild hook from Fili.
Fili has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fili throws a wild body kick that Sonnen sees coming a mile off.
Sonnen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sonnen thuds his right hand into Fili's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fili connects with the punch.
Sonnen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fili moves out of range as Sonnen strikes.
Sonnen fails with the takedown.
Fili darts in and clinches Sonnen up against the cage.
Fili is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Fili lands with a short punch from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fili creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sonnen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Fili tries to stall but Sonnen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fili lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sonnen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fili is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fili breaks from the clinch.
Fili scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sonnen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fili throws out the jab.
A big left from Fili misses.
Fili on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fili works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sonnen lands a slapping body shot.
Fili throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fili tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sonnen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sonnen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sonnen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fili looks to score with a jab to the body but Sonnen is just out of range.
Fili misses with a body kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fili loads up on a big right hand but Sonnen slips the punch.
Sonnen takes a swing at Fili's ribcage but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Sonnen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ryan Sonnen's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Sonnen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fili, pushing him back against the cage.
Fili misses with a punch on the inside.
Sonnen is looking for a takedown.
Sonnen blocks an uppercut.
Sonnen lands a body punch.
Fili struggles to land a body shot inside as Sonnen controls his hands.
Sonnen takes an elbow to the temple.
Sonnen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sonnen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sonnen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fili landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Fili pushes Sonnen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sonnen tries to work over Fili's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fili blocks a body shot from Sonnen.
Fili tries to land knees in the clinch but Sonnen avoids the damage to the body.

Sonnen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fili pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Fili connects with a knee to the head.
Fili lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Fili stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Oh Sonnen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fili swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Fili misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sonnen seems to have got his legs back now.
Fili landing knees to the head.
Sonnen misses with a punch to the body.
Fili drops Sonnen with a big knee straight up the middle! Sonnen is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sonnen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sonnen missing with a left hand there. Fili was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
BOOM! Fili lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sonnen. Sonnen tries to recover but Fili is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sonnen lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ange Fili!
Post fight, Ange Fili stared into the camera and said 'Thanks to my new team at Ancient Alien they were the missing piece. I feel complete...'.
