Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masato Saeba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saeba's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Easy Action. Paulo Alves told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paulo Alves!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Saeba.
The fighters circle momentarily. Saeba darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Alves on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Saeba. Saeba obviously looking to wear him down.
Saeba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Saeba lands a lovely overhand right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Saeba! Alves is out on his feet! Saeba rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Alves is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Alves is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Masato Saeba!
