Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorny Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bittersweet Symphony kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes Gracie against the cage but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gracie darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie lands a glancing blow to the side of Freeman's head.

Gracie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Freeman momentarily.
Freeman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gracie sizes up Freeman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Gracie regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie is trying to keep Freeman in close.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Freeman doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Freeman escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
