Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Christoper Puckett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson clinches with his opponent.

Anderson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Puckett is one step ahead there.

Puckett drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Puckett jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Anderson seems keen to control Puckett's posture.
Anderson has a closed guard, preventing Puckett from standing up.
Anderson pulls Puckett in close to prevent any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Billy Anderson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Puckett tries to clinch up but Anderson circles away and keeps his distance.
Puckett looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Puckett persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Puckett moves away.
Puckett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Anderson jabs at Puckett's body.

Anderson closes the distance and clinches.
Puckett is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Puckett has his back to the cage.
Puckett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anderson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Puckett lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A right handed body shot lands from Anderson.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puckett tries to circle away but Anderson has him pinned against the cage.

Anderson is trying to trip Puckett. He has hold of a leg but Puckett is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Anderson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anderson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Puckett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Anderson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Puckett is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Anderson won't allow Puckett to sweep him here.
Anderson works over Puckett with some ground and pound from guard.
Anderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Anderson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Anderson slows the pace down.
Puckett tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Puckett is looking for a sweep.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Anderson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Puckett is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Anderson yanks on the arm and Puckett is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Anderson.
