The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solomon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Solomon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Solomon misses with an attempted mid kick.
Solomon throws a nice head kick!
Succom avoids a kick to the body.
Solomon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Succom manages to avoid it.

and Succom counters with a stiff right hand.
Solomon goes for a double leg but Succom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Succom continues to drive forward.
Yarik Succom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartosz Solomon.
Succom takes a knee to the side of the body.

Solomon wants to stall.
Solomon is trying to force a seperation but Succom has the dominant position.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Solomon wants to get back to striking at distance but Succom won't allow it.

Solomon breaks from the clinch.
Succom has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Solomon.
Solomon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Succom counters with a single leg into guard. Solomon didn't expect that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Succom with a flurry of punches that miss.

Succom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Succom postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Solomon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Succom slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Yarik Succom just wasn't active enough.
Solomon throws a sloppy head kick and Succom moves out of range easily.

A head kick from Solomon lands but Succom takes it in his stride.
Bartosz Solomon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Succom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solomon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Succom grinds an elbow into Solomon's temple.
Succom lands some shots froms side control.
A lull in the action here as Succom stalls from top position.
Succom gets to mount! Solomon was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Succom lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Succom lands a big elbow.

Solomon is rocked!
Succom connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Solomon is still in real trouble! Can Succom finish him?
Succom looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Solomon covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
