The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monik doesn't manage to clinch there - Bronus circles away.
Monik fails to land the takedown.

Bronus has managed to clinch.
Monik can't break the clinch.
Monik tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Monik goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bronus prevents it.
Monik is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Monik tries to break the clinch but Bronus is controlling the position.
Monik wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Monik looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Monik lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Monik has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Monik jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bronus walks away with a smile on his face. Monik gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Grarlock Bronus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of De Monik.
Monik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Monik tries to sprawl but Bronus drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bronus connects with a nice short shot to Monik's temple.
Bronus slips a nice elbow through Monik's hands, connecting with Monik's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bronus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bronus lands with a punch from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bronus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Monik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like De Monik has been cut.
Bronus drops an elbow to the side of Monik's head.
Bronus not doing much here.
Bronus is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Monik is rocked!

That has opened up De Monik's cut even more.
Bronus creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Monik is out cold and this one is all over! Bronus climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Grarlock Bronus!
