Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Fed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Eddie Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Fed!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Armstrong darts in and clinches Fed up against the cage.
Armstrong goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fed trying to stall but Armstrong improves his position.
Fed's coach down at Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fed's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Armstrong tries for a takedown. No joy.
Armstrong swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Armstrong turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Fed taking punishment in the form of punches.


It looks like Roman Fed has been cut.
Armstrong is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee asks Armstrong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Armstrong prefers to stall for the moment though.

Fed makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fed.
Armstrong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eddie Armstrong wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Fed bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Armstrong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Armstrong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fed throws a good cross that connects.
Fed leaves Armstrong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fed lands a nice shot to the body.

Armstrong needs to keep his hands up - Fed had a free shot at his head there.
Roman Fed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fed swats away the attempt to clinch by Armstrong.
Armstrong shoots in and drives through. Fed sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Armstrong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fed counters with a straight right hand.
Armstrong shoots for a takedown but Fed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Armstrong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fed.
Roman Fed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Armstrong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Armstrong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fed throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Armstrong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Armstrong will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Roman Fed's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fed connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Armstrong's hands.
Armstrong fails with the takedown.
Fed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fed lunges at Armstrong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Armstrong's hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Armstrong.

Armstrong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Armstrong showed some decent athleticism there.
Fed tries to get to full guard but Armstrong has control of the leg.
Fed is staying active underneath Armstrong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Fed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Armstrong.
Armstrong wants to control but Fed is keeping him busy.
Armstrong tries to pass to full mount but Fed defends it.

Armstrong can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fed is looking to escape.

Fed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Armstrong lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Fed keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Fed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fed stuffs the takedown.
Fed lands with a nice combination. Armstrong backs away looking to recover.
Armstrong shoots for a takedown but Fed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Armstrong throws a right hand that Fed ducks under and follows up with a left that Fed also avoids with ease.
Fed is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Armstrong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Fed has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A bit of stalling here from Fed.
Fed tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Armstrong.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Armstrong can't find room to land a body shot as Fed controls the action.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Armstrong here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Armstrong pushes Fed back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Fed.
Armstrong misses with a short punch on the inside.
Fed trying to control the position but instead, Armstrong has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fed into the cage.
Armstrong lands with a light punch inside.
Fed blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Armstrong tries a body shot but Fed blocks it.
Armstrong struggles to land a body shot inside as Fed controls his hands.
Armstrong throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Armstrong is stalling here. Fed is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Armstrong seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fed has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Eddie Armstrong is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fed trying to control the position but Armstrong is working away.
You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fed moves into full mount!
Fed pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fed controlling the pace for now.

Roman Fed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Armstrong wants to control but Fed is having none of it.
Armstrong's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Armstrong is in all sorts of trouble here.
Armstrong wants to control but Fed is having none of it.

Armstrong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Armstrong tries to get out of the position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Armstrong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
