The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earthempires fails with the takedown
and Hagler counters with a right hand to the body.
Hagler throws the left hand but Earthempires avoids the punch easily.
Hagler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Earthempires with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hagler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Earthempires shoots in for a takedown but Hagler shows good takedown defense.
Marvin Hagler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LaF Earthempires.
Hagler looks to throw the jab but Earthempires is out of range.
Earthempires walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Hagler throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Earthempires on the side of the head.

Earthempires shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hagler pinned against the cage. Hagler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters circling - Hagler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Earthempires ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Earthempires no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Earthempires has his foot on Hagler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hagler works his way back into a safe position though.

Hagler tries to free his leg and advance position but Earthempires is retaining full guard.
Hagler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Earthempires on the ground.

Earthempires had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hagler defends it easily.

Earthempires has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hagler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hagler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Earthempires to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hagler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Earthempires pulls down on the head and he's put Hagler to sleep! This one is all over!
