The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davids fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davids tries to clinch there but Amok circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Davids looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice sprawl there from Amok as Davids shoots in.

Amok gets a takedown into half guard.
Amok wants to pass to mount but Davids is defending the position.
Amok is working hard here to advance position.
Davids has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amok is working away from the top position though.
Amok trying to control the action but Davids is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
