The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rostowski fails with a takedown attempt.

and Jag counters with a big head kick but Rostowski shrugs it off.
Jaromir Jag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrzej Rostowski.
Jag tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rostowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jag pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rostowski dives in and grabs Jag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jag pushes down on Rostowski's head and hops out.
Jag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jag wants to clinch but Rostowski slips to the side

and Rostowski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rostowski prevents Jag from standing back up.

Rostowski is looking for a kimura but Jag is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rostowski to get the leverage.
