Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cedric Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Eckstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckstein avoids the head kick by Murphy.

Murphy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Eckstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Murphy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Eckstein wants to clinch up but Murphy keeps it at a distance.

I was talking to Murphy's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Eckstein breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Murphy with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Murphy looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Murphy get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
