Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Thomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Henry makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thomson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Henry counters with a head kick.
Thomson thows a body shot but no joy.
Thomson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thomson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henry sprawls well. Henry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thomson gets slowly back to his feet.
Henry shoots for a takedown but Thomson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Henry ducks straight into an uppercut from Thomson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Henry manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Orlando Henry has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Thomson looking to sit in guard and control but Henry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Thomson wants to sweep here but Henry controlling him for the moment.
Thomson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Henry is controlling him.
Henry throws a big right hand that misses.
Henry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thomson is wriggling around but Henry manages to pass to half guard.
Thomson wants to improve his position but Henry is controlling well.
Thomson is trying to control but can't.

Thomson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Henry escapes and gets back to his feet.
Thomson just misses with a punch to the body.
A punch combination from Thomson misses.
Henry shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomson tries to sprawl out of it but Henry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Byron Thomson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Henry has time to react.

Henry is rocked!
Thomson is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Thomson shuts the power down on Henry. Lights out, game over! Thomson is your winner.
