Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the ring accompanied by Mushroomhead. Drago has chosen James Brown - Living In America as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Drago throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Drago misses with a body shot.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drago moves away.

Drago throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drago throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Drago throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Drago is just out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drago might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jones tries to bum rush Drago with a series of wild strikes but Drago uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Drago misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Drago swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Ivan Drago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jones shoots in and bounces Drago off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones cracks Drago with a solid left hand.

Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Drago is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Drago is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Drago takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

A nice elbow there by Jones.

Jones has hold of Drago's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Drago manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Drago working to try and regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones scoring with strikes but Drago is staying in there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Drago looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones is looking to wear down Drago with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Jones counters with a left and a right that hurts Drago! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Jones jumps into full mount!

Jones breaks from Drago's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Drago is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big strike lands for Jones! That's really hurt Drago and he's turned his back - Jones keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Jones Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
