Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spenser Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Spenser Steel has been cut.
Rogers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Steel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Steel working away.
Steel cracks Rogers with a big right hand but Rogers just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Rogers is trying to escape the position but Steel is controlling the position.
Rogers is looking for a sweep.
Steel scores with a couple of short elbows.
Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Steel is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rogers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Steel tries to stand but Rogers is controlling his head.
The ground and pound from Steel seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Steel throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Rogers can't do much from the bottom here.
Rogers wants to get back to his feet but Steel is dominant here and he's now got Rogers's back!

Steel working for a choke but Rogers is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rogers tries to escape but Steel has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Steel trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Steel is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rogers has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Steel trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Rogers doesn't escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Steel misses with a punch to the head.

Steel gets his hands free as Rogers looks to control.
I really don't envy Rogers right now.
