Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Monkey D Luffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Anders!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Luffy, right into the meat.
Anders looks to land a combination but Luffy avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anders. Luffy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Luffy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Anders throws a series of punches but Luffy moves out of range.
Luffy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anders misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Luffy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Anders.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Luffy.
Luffy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anders misses with a double jab
and Luffy counters with a series of strikes. Anders will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anders swings for the body but Luffy moves out of range.
Anders has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Luffy.
Anders fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Luffy.
Luffy scores with a head kick. Anders tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Luffy takes one on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luffy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Luffy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Anders misses with a two punch combination.
Anders takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Luffy misses with a two punch combination.
Anders has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Luffy.
Anders takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Anders lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Luffy at a distance.
Anders misses with a jab to the body
and Luffy counters with a head kick.
Luffy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Eric Anders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
