Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aslak Aas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsutomu Miyazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aas comes into the arena with Nunnuka Nunnuka blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aslak Aas!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tsutomu Miyazaki!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aas connects with an inside leg kick.
Good leg kick by Aas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Aas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miyazaki.

The fighters circle momentarily. Aas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
