The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ivar swivels and escapes.

Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Ivar , looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Ivar against the ropes but Ivar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ivar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ivar looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ivar . Smith shrugs it off though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Ivar .
I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
