Choi comes to the cage accompanied by Future ft. Drake Juicy J Meek Mill Rick Ross - Shit (remix). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choi slips a jab from Khan.
Khan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Choi is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Khan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Choi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khan.
Khan misses with an uppercut

and Choi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Khan!
Khan is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Choi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Khan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Choi's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

K.J. Choi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The crowd cheers as Khan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Choi doesn't seem phased though.

and Choi counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Khan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Choi chips away with some ground and pound.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Choi out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
