The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osborn shoots in and bounces Von Falkenberg off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Osborn works over Von Falkenberg with some ground and pound from guard.

Osborn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Von Falkenberg ducks under a wild hook from Osborn.

Osborn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Von Falkenberg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Osborn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Von Falkenberg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Von Falkenberg is working for an americana but Osborn has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Von Falkenberg was thinking about the submission.
Osborn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Von Falkenberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Osborn is retaining full guard.

Von Falkenberg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Osborn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Von Falkenberg has managed to get both his arms back between Osborn's legs - danger averted.

Von Falkenberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Osborn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
