The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabian throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Papers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fabian is in Papers's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fabian not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fabian looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fabian prevents Papers from getting back to his feet.
Papers looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fabian dives in and grabs Papers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Papers pushes down on Fabian's head and hops out.

Papers gets caught napping as Fabian dives in and scores a takedown. Papers manages to retain guard.
Fabian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Papers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

and Papers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fabian looks to throw the jab but Papers is out of range.
Fabian bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fabian throws a hook but Papers avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Fabian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Fabian tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Papers swivels and escapes.
Papers misses with an uppercut.
Papers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Michael Fabian has been cut.
Fabian pushes Papers up against the cage in a clinch.
Fabian gets through Papers's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Fabian is working for takedown but Papers is calmly controlling the position for now.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Fabian moves in looking to clinch but Papers pushes him off.

Fabian thows a left - swing and a miss!
A looping hook to the body misses from Fabian. Papers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fabian scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Money Papers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
