The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva digs a good hook to Vraganza's body.
Vraganza looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.

Vraganza throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silva is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Vraganza has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Vraganza manages to reverse the position and now he's in Silva's guard. Nice work there by Vraganza.

Vraganza has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Vraganza tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vraganza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vraganza is pushing Silva's head away, looking to escape. Silva manages to hold on to the position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vrando Vraganza will probably get the nod.

Vrando Vraganza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zesbis Silva.

Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Vraganza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
