Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chiaton Woo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puna Wai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chiaton Woo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Puna Wai!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo misses with the combination.
Woo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Woo doesn't manage to clinch there - Wai circles away.
Wai shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Woo pinned against the cage. Woo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Woo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wai gets caught flat footed, as Woo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Woo is aware though and is defending well.
Wai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Woo trying to control the position from guard on top but Wai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woo tries to free his leg and advance position but Wai is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Woo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Woo advances to half guard.
Woo thows a huge punch but Wai dodges it nicely.
Wai looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wai.
Wai is looking for a triangle but Woo pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wai has his foot on Woo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Woo works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Woo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wai has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Woo is looking to defend but Wai has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Woo! Wai pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Woo taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Puna Wai!
A very excited looking Puna Wai made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
