Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Parker!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry dodges the punch combination from Parker.

Parker has taken the fight to the clinch.

Parker breaks from the clinch.

Parker looking to score a takedown here. Henry is defending well but Parker drives through and ends up in Henry's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Parker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Parker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Henry is keeping the position for now.

Parker works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Parker slows the pace down in half guard.
Parker seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Parker is taking a breather. Henry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Keith Parker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Henry tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Parker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Parker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Henry won't allow Parker to pass to mount.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Keith Parker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Henry throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.

Henry gets caught napping as Parker dives in and scores a takedown. Henry manages to retain guard.
Parker is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Parker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Henry is breathing heavily.

Parker lands a couple of elbows.
Parker showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Henry looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keith Parker dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Parker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henry sprawls well initially but Parker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Parker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Henry has managed to free his arm - good work.
Parker controlling the action here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Parker lands a nice short elbow.


Henry is rocked!
Parker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Henry is hurt! He's hurt bad - Parker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Henry from any more punishment! Congratulations to Parker! Great finish!
