The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodano ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maruska just misses with a punch to the body.
Lodano looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lodano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maruska doesn't seem bothered though.
Maruska moves away from the strike by Lodano.
Lodano lands a nice shot that snaps Maruska's head back.
Maruska throws a nice looking combination but Lodano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maruska misses with a two punch combination.
Lodano scores with a jab to the head.
Maruska has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maruska there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lodano lands a left and a right that send Maruska crashing to the mat, dazed. Lodano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Miroslav Maruska has been cut.
Lodano fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lodano throws a body punch but Maruska moves out of range.
Maruska jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lodano takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lodano is looking to clinch but Maruska is avoiding it.
Lodano is looking to slow Maruska down with leg kicks.
That kick from Lodano tenderised Maruska's leg. Maruska is trying to keep his angry face on.
Maruska looks winded!

Lodano lands a big uppercut and Maruska crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Maruska looks OK. Lodano waves Maruska back to his feet!

Lodano lands with a nice body punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lodano. That's going to slow Maruska down.
Lodano cracks a nice hook into Maruska's ribs.

Lodano cracks Maruska with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Maruska looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lodano finish him?

BAM! Lodano delivers a spinning backfist that drops Maruska like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
