Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maurício Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihiro Tatsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Akihiro Tatsui enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akihiro Tatsui!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsui bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aurelio scores with a head kick. Tatsui tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Aurelio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tatsui was well out of range. Poor timing from Aurelio.

Aurelio gets caught napping as Tatsui dives in and scores a takedown. Aurelio manages to retain guard.

Tatsui avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Aurelio is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tatsui defends well.
Tatsui trying to control the position from guard on top but Aurelio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tatsui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aurelio swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tatsui has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Aurelio to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tatsui is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Aurelio pulls down on the head and he's put Tatsui to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Maurício Aurelio!
A relieved looking Maurício Aurelio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
