The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintosh dives in and grabs Kongo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kongo pushes down on Macintosh's head and hops out.
Kongo punishes Macintosh's body with a nice straight punch.
No luck for Macintosh with that takedown attempt.
Kongo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kongo throws a body punch but Macintosh moves out of range.

Kongo darts in and clinches Macintosh up against the cage.

Kongo tries to land a knee to the head but Macintosh blocks with his arms.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kongo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Macintosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kongo has managed to get both his arms back between Macintosh's legs - danger averted.

Kongo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Macintosh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kongo tries to avoid it but Macintosh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kongo to the ground. Kongo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Macintosh looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circling - Macintosh throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bud Macintosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kongo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Macintosh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Macintosh's back!

Macintosh is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kongo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kongo shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bud Macintosh will probably get the nod.

Kongo lands a big head kick that sends Macintosh tumbling to the mat! Kongo takes a step backwards and waves Macintosh back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kongo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kongo wants it to stay on the feet.
