Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Leigh Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perttu Peikkola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent comes to the cage accompanied by Stand Up (Akala). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peikkola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peikkola throws out the jab.
A big right from Peikkola misses.
Kent shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peikkola pinned against the cage. Peikkola gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kent closes the distance and clinches up with Peikkola, looking for a takedown. Kent pushes Peikkola against the cage but Peikkola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kent tries for a takedown but Peikkola sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Leigh Kent. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It looks like Jamie Leigh Kent has been cut.
Kent shoots for a double leg takedown but Peikkola sprawls well. He's pushed Kent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Peikkola takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Peikkola is pressed up against the cage. Kent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peikkola down to the mat. Peikkola avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Peikkola lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Kent is looking to close the distance but Peikkola sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Kent crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Kent is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
