PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Kosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaq Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kosh's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Song 2. Shaq Fu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kosh!
Fu has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kosh's face.
BOOM! Fu connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kosh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fu landing shots from mount.
Kosh tries to reverse the position but Fu maintains control.
Fu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kosh is looking to escape.

Fu has hold of Kosh's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kosh manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kosh manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Fu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fu wants to control but Kosh is keeping him busy.

Kosh looking for submissions off his back.
Fu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kosh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kosh works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kosh is trying to control the position but Fu postures up.
Fu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kosh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kosh is breathing heavily.
Fu trying to control but Kosh is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kosh throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kosh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kosh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fu wants to control from the top but Kosh keeps moving.
Fu throwing strikes but missing.
Fu is looking to work some ground and pound but Kosh has wrist control.
Fu won't allow Kosh to sweep him here.

Kosh is looking to sinch up a triangle. Fu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kosh's body to avoid the submission. Kosh has instead reached around Fu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kosh arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
