Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivo Koljeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max McLennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koljeno closes the distance and pushes McLennan back into the cage.
Koljeno is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Koljeno tries to stall but McLennan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McLennan goes for a takedown attempt but Koljeno pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Koljeno tries to close the distance and clinch but McLennan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McLennan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Koljeno's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McLennan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
McLennan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
McLennan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koljeno tries to kick McLennan off but McLennan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McLennan seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Koljeno has recovered full guard.
McLennan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McLennan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Max McLennan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koljeno.

Oooooh!!! Koljeno has knocked McLennan down with a huge combo! Koljeno steps away and waves a wobbly McLennan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Max McLennan has been cut.

Koljeno loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have McLennan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Koljeno land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Koljeno stands and salutes the crowd.
