The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tykoon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tykoon scores with a spinning back kick!
Tykoon lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pike will feel that in the morning.
Pike takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pike thows a body shot but no joy.
Pike throws a head kick but Tykoon moves out of range.
Tykoon connects with a leg kick. Pike looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tykoon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tykoon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Pike throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pike chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tykoon can pounce on him.
Pike connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tykoon. Tykoon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pike's coach down at T's Private Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pike's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pike moves out of range as Tykoon throws a body kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tykoon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Pike breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tykoon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tykoon connects with a leg kick. Pike looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tykoon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tykoon thumps Pike with a low kick.

Tykoon moves away from the strike by Pike.
Pike has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tykoon.
Mike Tykoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tykoon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pike.

Pike gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Pike has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tykoon.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pike utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Pike is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Tykoon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pike's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A jab from Pike misses.
Pike fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pike lands with a straight right. Tykoon didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Mike Tykoon has been cut.
Tykoon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pike takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pike digs a good hook to Tykoon's body.
Pike loads up on a big right hand but Tykoon slips the punch.
Pike stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tykoon.

Tykoon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pike.
Pike fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tykoon manages to avoid it.

and Pike holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pike has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tykoon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
