Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard De Villefort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gerard De Villefort!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from De Villefort misses.
Wallace definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
De Villefort throws a head kick that misses.
De Villefort tries for a takedown but Wallace circles away easily

and Wallace counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Wallace is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Villefort doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wallace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing De Villefort to regain full guard.
Wallace's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Wallace got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Villefort has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wallace has managed to get both his arms back between De Villefort's legs - danger averted.

Wallace wants to stand but De Villefort is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wallace is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

De Villefort is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wallace is controlling him.
Wallace advances position into side control!
Wallace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Villefort on the ground.

Wallace decides to stand back up. Wallace steps back and let's De Villefort get back to his feet.

Wallace gets a double leg takedown into De Villefort's guard.

Wallace throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as De Villefort works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wallace scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

De Villefort looks winded!

Wallace is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But De Villefort has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from De Villefort!
De Villefort won't allow Wallace to sweep him here.

Wallace has his foot on De Villefort's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. De Villefort works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

De Villefort tries to free his leg and advance position but Wallace is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace is trying to get back to half guard.
De Villefort throwing strikes but Wallace manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
De Villefort is looking to regain half guard here but Wallace keeps moving and retains side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
De Villefort trying to remain calm as Wallace controls from the top position.
Check out the look on Wallace's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Wallace can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as De Villefort is looking to escape.
De Villefort wants to control but Wallace is having none of it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wallace has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of De Villefort's face.

Wallace lands with some vicious ground and pound - can De Villefort hang on?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wallace takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
De Villefort is bucking up trying to escape but Wallace cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wallace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that De Villefort can do to turn this around?

Wallace softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and De Villefort is out cold! Wallace jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lou Wallace!
