Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gideon Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing Grace by The Celtic Woman. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a straight left.
Gabriel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davis defends it nicely.
Davis swings for the body but Gabriel moves out of range.
Gabriel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Davis is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gabriel thows a body shot but no joy.
Davis slips under a jab.
Davis throws a shot to the body.
Gabriel rushes Davis and presses him up against the cage.
Davis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Davis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gabriel's elbow.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Davis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Davis throws a right hand that Gabriel ducks under and follows up with a left that Gabriel also avoids with ease.
Davis loads up on a big right hand but Gabriel slips the punch.

Davis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gabriel.

and Gabriel counters with a shoot takedown. Davis fights it but they end up in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

It looks like Antonio Davis has been cut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gabriel wants to take the fight to the mat but Davis manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

and Davis counters with an outside leg kick.
Gabriel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gabriel slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Gabriel fails to land the takedown.
Davis misses the shot to the body.
Gabriel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gideon Gabriel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gabriel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gabriel throws a hook but Davis blocks it.
Davis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Davis throws a right and a left that Gabriel avoids nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gideon Gabriel seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gabriel dips a shoulder and cracks Davis with a mighty uppercut! Davis falls back against the cage and Gabriel unloads with a barrage of strikes! Davis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gabriel screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

After winning the bout, Gideon Gabriel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
