Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Suu Kii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suu Kii has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kii can pounce on him.
Kii tests Kirk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kirk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kii slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kii misses with a hook. Kirk ducked under it nicely.

Kii closes the distance and clinches.
Kirk told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Kirk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kii walks away with a smile on his face. Kirk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Suu Kii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirk with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kii to score with a decent uppercut.

Kirk is rocked!
Kirk moves in looking to clinch but Kii pushes him off.
Kirk is still on wobbly legs! Can Kii finish him?

Kirk has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kirk seems to have recovered his senses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kii cracks Kirk with a nice body shot.
Kii gets through Kirk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kirk tries to pull guard but Kii forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kirk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kii walks away with a smile on his face. Kirk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Suu Kii has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gorge Kirk.
Kii turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kii tried to score with a low kick but Kirk checks it.
Kirk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kii swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kii lands a big head kick that sends Kirk tumbling to the mat! Kii takes a step backwards and waves Kirk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kii closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kii lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kirk backwards.
Kii lands a good knee to the midsection. Kirk won't want to take too many of those.
Kii is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Kirk looks winded!

Kii breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kii lands a jab to Kirk's midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kii misses with a knee to the head.
Kii scores with a hook to the body.
Kii effectively controlling the action here.
Kirk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kii gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kii working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Kii lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kii drops Kirk onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kirk is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A short body shot lands from Kii as the two fighters clinch.
Kirk tries to pull guard but Kii holds him up against the cage and eventually Kirk drops back down to his feet.
Kirk takes a knee to the side of the body.

Kirk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kii fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kirk wants to clinch.
Kii throws a jab but it's blocked by Kirk.
Kii avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kii lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kii misses with a low kick.

Kii closes the distance and pushes Kirk back into the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kirk blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kii feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kirk's calf.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kirk. Kii does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kii stuffs the takedown.

Kii moves into range and clinches up with Kirk.
Kii is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kirk can do to turn this around?
Kii lands with a short shot to the head.
Kii misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kii lands an uppercut.
Kirk prevents a body shot from Kii.
Kirk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kii just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kii dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Kii is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Kirk tries to break Kii's hands from around his neck, Kii unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Kirk will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
