Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Speedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rahkim Abdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Speedy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Pete Speedy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speedy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Speedy is staying tight to Abdullah's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Speedy tries to score with some ground and pound. Abdullah controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Abdullah is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pete Speedy.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Speedy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
