The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolbauwah moves out of range as Goveira throws a body kick.
Goveira seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bolbauwah looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Goveira pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bolbauwah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Goveira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Goveira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Goveira shoots for a takedown but Bolbauwah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Goveira tries to close the distance and clinch but Bolbauwah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Goveira closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bolbauwah's guard.

Bolbauwah takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Goveira is working to tighten his grip on Bolbauwah's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bolbauwah has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Goveira is really squeezing tight and eventually Bolbauwah passes out! Goveira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
