Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Cahill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cahill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cahill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Padilla is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cahill scores with a couple of nice shots.

Oh Padilla is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Padilla knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cahill on the ground.
Cahill is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Padilla is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cahill fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Padilla from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cahill! Great finish!
