The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross throws a right and a left that Stewart avoids nicely.

Ross moves into range and clinches up with Stewart.
Stewart avoids the elbow strike from Ross, against the cage.
Ross blocks a body shot from Stewart.
Ross has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nice body punch from Ross.

Stewart breaks from the clinch.
Ross fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ross throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stewart looking to slow down the pace here.
Ross wants to break free but Stewart has control.

Stewart breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ross clinches up with Stewart and pushes him back against the cage.
Stewart is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ross has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Stewart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ross misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ross tries to bum rush Stewart with a series of wild strikes but Stewart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stewart throws a wild hook but Ross just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Stewart gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Ross raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
