Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evald Von Hertzell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soviet Russia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russia has chosen Soviet National Anthem as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Russia. No joy for Von Hertzell on that attempt.
Russia drops his hands momentarily and Von Hertzell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Von Hertzell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Russia's waist but Russia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Von Hertzell off to one side.

Russia has hold of Von Hertzell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Von Hertzell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Russia cranks the arm and Von Hertzell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Von Hertzell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Soviet Russia!
