Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fidel Bautista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy MacKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista lands a straight punch to the body, keeping MacKenzie at a distance.
Bautista comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
MacKenzie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bautista cracks MacKenzie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
MacKenzie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
MacKenzie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and MacKenzie wants it to stay on the feet.
Bautista fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacKenzie manages to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for MacKenzie.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bautista throws a lazy uppercut
enabling MacKenzie to counter with a crisp jab.
Bautista jabs at MacKenzie's body.
MacKenzie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bautista momentarily.
MacKenzie misses with a body shot.
MacKenzie thows a body shot but no joy.
Bautista is looking to slow MacKenzie down with leg kicks.
Bautista throws a hook to the side of MacKenzie's head but MacKenzie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
MacKenzie fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bautista.
A big right from MacKenzie misses.
MacKenzie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Bautista is on the wrong end of a nice combination from MacKenzie.
MacKenzie connects with a solid leg kick.
Bautista looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
MacKenzie dodges the punch combination from Bautista.
Bautista on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by MacKenzie. MacKenzie obviously looking to wear him down.
Bautista swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bautista is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by MacKenzie.
Bautista tries for a takedown but MacKenzie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
MacKenzie misses with a looping right.
A looping hook to the body misses from MacKenzie. Bautista does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fidel Bautista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacKenzie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Bautista throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
MacKenzie throws a hook but Bautista avoids it easily.
MacKenzie lands a jab to the nose.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
MacKenzie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bautista momentarily.

MacKenzie scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bautista swinging wildly here.
Bautista fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fidel Bautista. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bautista keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
MacKenzie thows a body shot but no joy.
Bautista is looking to wear down MacKenzie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

MacKenzie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - MacKenzie lands in his opponent's guard.

MacKenzie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Fidel Bautista.
Bautista has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bautista there as he acknowledges the shot.

MacKenzie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bautista throws a jab but it's blocked by MacKenzie.

MacKenzie keeping moving, preventing Bautista from controlling successfully.
Bautista passes MacKenzie's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
MacKenzie tries to get to full guard but Bautista has control of the leg.
Bautista is controlling the pace.
MacKenzie trying to hold on to Bautista's head to control him but Bautista postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bautista connects with a nice short shot to MacKenzie's temple.
MacKenzie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy MacKenzie dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bautista throws a jab but it's blocked by MacKenzie.
MacKenzie thows a body shot but no joy.
Bautista tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacKenzie was well out of range. Poor timing from Bautista.
MacKenzie has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bautista throws a right hand that misses
and MacKenzie counters with an outside leg kick.
MacKenzie tries to land a leg kick but Bautista saw it coming and moves away.
Bautista lands a slapping body shot.
Bautista lands a jab to MacKenzie's midsection.
MacKenzie cracks Bautista with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
MacKenzie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bautista lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MacKenzie looks to throw the jab but Bautista is out of range.
Bautista throws a nice inside leg kick.
MacKenzie takes a jab right on the kisser.
MacKenzie throws a lazy right hand but Bautista sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for MacKenzie.
A jab from Bautista misses.

Bautista uses good head movement to avoid the hook from MacKenzie.
MacKenzie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bautista manages to avoid it.
Bautista dives in and grabs MacKenzie's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacKenzie pushes down on Bautista's head and hops out.
Bautista works the jab nicely.
MacKenzie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bautista throws a solid leg kick but MacKenzie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bautista.

Bautista takes a jab right on the kisser.

MacKenzie drops his shoulder and cracks Bautista with a huge uppercut! Bautista goes down! Can MacKenzie finish him?


Bautista is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
MacKenzie arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bautista's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tommy MacKenzie!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Tommy MacKenzie waved his t-shirt featuring Fury Nutrition Inc.'s logo in front of the cameras.
