The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederiksen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duncan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Frederiksen tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Duncan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Frederiksen is looking for a sweep. Duncan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Duncan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frederiksen is just riding it out for now. Duncan eventually gives up the hold.

Duncan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Frederiksen sees it coming and defends easily.

Frederiksen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duncan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duncan's back!
