Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Coleman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Carl Alexander Burns!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Burns looks to score with a jab to the body but Coleman is just out of range.

Coleman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Coleman thows a huge punch but Burns dodges it nicely.
Coleman is keen to just control but Burns is a slippery customer.
Coleman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Coleman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coleman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burns was covering up waiting for the punch and Coleman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Coleman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burns is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burns has escaped and now he's on top!
