Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Oreily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Muikku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muikku has chosen Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oreily darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Oreily seems to be working for a kimura but Muikku defends the submission attempt.
Oreily controlling the action here.
Muikku is trying to get back to full guard.
Oreily is keen to just control but Muikku is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oreily tries to pass the half guard into mount. Muikku knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Oreily wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muikku keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Oreily counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Oreily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Muikku lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Muikku breaks the clinch.
Muikku goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Oreily feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Oreily will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oreily passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Oreily is looking to take a break and control but Muikku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oreily looks up at the clock and then as Muikku takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oreily smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Muikku tries to improve position but can't.

Oreily is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Muikku has escaped the position, nice work there.
Muikku is looking to reverse the position.
Oreily trying to control the action but Muikku is working from the bottom.
Muikku tries to buck Oreily off but Oreily is having none of it.
Muikku manages to get back to half guard.

Oreily is working for a submission of some sort.
Oreily is breathing heavily.

Muikku is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Oreily pulls his head out easily.

Oreily in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Muikku tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Oreily!
